I'm guessing I'm not the only person that doesn't have time to dedicate full attention to the game. Those hardly take more than 15 minutes anyway.Īlso, the new hacking sites are incredibly pick up and play friendly. You can farm most of the pre-req missions in a safe space and hide in a bathroom break to pay attention to the gold mission. With a recent change, all non-gold news encounter from T7 or lower are now placed in high-sec space. While I know some people, especially multiboxers, that do some really unexpectedly high income from this, you can still make a decent isk with news encounters and selling the story books. So this has basically left me with nothing but mining in highsec. I know most people are going to reply to this with some form of "it makes the game more interesting" but that's the problem, sometime people want to have some brain dead fun. I'm probably safer with my alliance in null than I am in missions now. Honestly the only reason I can see to do this is to sell more plexs by PvE players loosing ships to PvP players. It's honestly pretty much ruined eve for me. I absolutely love eve but unfortunately I don't have the ability to pay 100% attention to my phone. But to my surprise I can now be scanned down well doing lowsec story missions. I've been inactive the past few months with moving and another child on the way and I just finally got a few free minutes to half pay attention to the game. It is recommended that this basic tutorial be completed as it will teach you the basics of navigating the game and performing some of the functions available.I'm not here to whine I'm curious if anyone else feels the same. If for some reason you close out of the dialogs without knowing what to do next, this will get you back on track. The game's initial tutorial resides here. More information on these can be found on the Encounter page. Within each story line there is a penultimate mission that acts as the conclusion of that story line and offers great rewards and hefty sums of ISK once completed. These can be identified by the faction's symbol located between the mission name and the reward payout. As you complete missions there is a chance you will be offered a story line mission. This can be viewed within the Journal located on the right side of the screen.Įach Empire faction has four main story lines that dive deeper into the game's lore. You can accept up to 10 missions at a time and once accepted they have a time limit in which they must be completed before the mission expires. Refreshes can only be done every 30 minutes so it is possible to run out of missions if you are running only one type, especially on easier difficulties. Once your filters and difficulty are set hit the Refresh button to get a fresh list of encounters. Investigation missions though can be completed in any ship. The different types of missions will, in general, require different ships to complete them. They then can be filtered by the Mission Type, what security level systems you want to receive missions in, and how to sort them. As difficulty goes up so does the ISK payout for completing the mission and some higher difficulty missions also reward item boxes. The higher difficulty missions require a higher tech level to accept and will also require higher tech level and large ships to complete them. They first can be sorted by the difficulty of the mission you want to accept. News encounters include varying missions spread out across the galaxy. From here is where basic missions can be selected, progress on main story lines can be viewed, and the basic tutorial can be completed. Upon tapping Encounters from the main menu, the player is presented with the screen shown on the right.
